Flights are currently available departing from three convenient New York Area Heliports:

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN HELIPORT, PIER 6 AND THE EAST RIVER. Monday through Friday , (excluding holidays) from 9:00am to 6:30pm. Saturdays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm - Sunday Flights depart from VIP Heliport or the Palus Hook Pier in New Jersey.

Departure Fee: $ 2.50 per guest collected at the heliport and not included in fees listed.

VIP HELIPORT, 12th AVENUE AT WEST 30TH STREET, On the Hudson River. Open everyday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Last Flight 8:30 pm.

Departure Fees: EFFECTIVE: 10-09-07 the VIP Heliport is now charging an additional $15.00 per guest airport passenger fee and a $2.50 per guest departure fee. These fees are paid at the Airport and not included in the rates listed.

PAULUS HOOK PIER IN JERSEY CITY, NY Open everyday of the year from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm - Last Flight 6:30 pm.

RESERVATION AND FLIGHT TIME CONFIRMATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Three online reservations are easy to complete. Please indicate a preferred flight time from 9:00am to 5:30 pm or as late as 8:30pm (for VIP heliport flights) on the order form. You will receive a confirmation and print at home voucher immediately after ordering online.

Children that have reached their 2nd birthday must have their own seat, children under two can sit on their parents laps as per FAA.

Please read the instructions on the travel voucher. Passengers must call the telephone number listed on your voucher 12 to 24 hours in advance to confirm an exact flight departure time and heliport. Your departure time will not be confirmed until you make this call. Please remember not all flights depart from all heliports.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Detailed directions to each Heliport will be on your voucher. All passengers MUST arrive at the heliport at least 30 minutes prior to the estimated flight time and present your confirmation voucher upon arrival.

Helicopter flights have departure delays for weather, local air traffic, special events Ie: Baseball Games. Flight routes will be altered or cancelled for "no fly zones" around special events and some outdoor stadium games. Please allocate a minimum of 1 hour of time in your schedule for check in, waiting for flight departures and flight time. During busy flight days this time frame may be extended without notice.

Liberty Helicopters, Inc. shall not be responsible for delays that result from inclement weather, mechanical problems or delays caused by factors beyond it's control. Management reserves the right to upgrade, alter or terminate any or all of our sightseeing tours due to management discretion, security, weather or acts of God.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT LAST FLIGHTS AT PAULUS HOOK IS AT 6:30 PM, THE DOWNTOWN HELIPORT IS AT 6:30 PM (5:30 PM Saturdays) AND VIP HELIPORT IS 8:30 PM.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

All Helicopter Flight guests must observe the following:

• Must have a valid photo ID (i.e. - Passport or Drivers License)
• Must check in all bags with security.
• No handbags or carry ons will be allowed on the flight. Do not bring bulky backpacks, strollers, or other luggage type items.
• Must walk through a metal detector.
• Must pay a mandatory Heliport Security Fee of $2.50 per person at Heliport. This fee in not included in rates. Effective: 10-09-07 the VIP Heliport is now charging an additional $15.00 per guest airport passenger fee and a $2.50 per guest departure fee. These fees are paid at the Airport and not included in the rates listed.
• Personal cameras and video cameras are allowed onboard once they clear through security. Disposable cameras available for purchase at heliport and will be allowed onboard the aircraft as well.

Q - Is there public transportation to the Heliports?

A - For our Downtown Heliport please take the 1 or 9 South to the last stop in Manhattan called the South Ferry. Walk towards the South Street Seaport. We are a five to ten minute walk south of there. You can also take the N or R to the Whitehall Street Stop. By bus take the number 9 to South Street Seaport stop or the number 15 to the South Street Seaport stop. To get to Paulus Hook Pier in Jersey City you can board a NY Water Taxi or NY Waterway ferry at their many stops throughout Manhattan. You can also take the Path train to the Exchange Place stop in Jersey City. To get to our VIP Heliport at West 30th Street and 12th Avenue take any subway to Penn Station (34th & 8th). From there you can walk 4 blocks west and 4 blocks south or board the M34 bus and take it west bound to the last stop Jacobs Javits Center. The VIP Heliport is 4 blocks south from there.

Q - How long are the flights?

A - The Lady Liberty and Taste of New York flights are both 5-7 minutes in length. The Big Apple flight is 10-12 minutes in length and the New York, New York flight is 15-17 minutes in length.

Q - Is parking available at the heliport?

A - No, the closest parking area to our Downtown Heliport is at the South Street Seaport. We are a five to ten minute walk from there. There is no parking at the Paulus Hook Pier location but there is plenty of street parking and parking garages. The closest parking garage to our VIP Heliport at West 30th Street and 12th Avenue is located at 29th Street between 11th and 12th Avenues. There is sometimes parking on the northbound side of the West Side Highway.

A - Each guest must pay a mandatory Heliport Security Fee of $2.50 per person at the Heliport. This fee in not included in rates. Effective: 10-09-07 the VIP Heliport is now charging an additional $15.00 per guest Airport Passenger Fee and the $2.50 per guest Heliport Security Fee.
